Area Activities

Leisure activities in the Three Rivers area include:

• hiking along the forks of the Kaweah River;
• fishing the lake or rivers;
• rafting in the spring and summer;
• swimming at the Slick Rock swim area.

Lake Kaweah offers a variety of opportunities for:

• water skiing;
• sailing;
• pleasure boating

There are two launch ramps and a marina. The marina has boating and camping supplies, fishing tackle, snack bar, boat rentals and fuel. There are many picnic areas available surrounding the lake for barbeques, playing, and swimming along the shoreline.

Lake and stream fishing alike will yield largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, catfish, with rainbow trout being the most common.

If golf is your game then a visit to our 9-hole golf course overlooking the Kaweah River as it flows along the foothills is a must on your trip. The golf course provides everything you need for an enjoyable round or two.
